August - September Currents Update: Tomball/Magnolia CCA Chapter

We appreciate all who attended our last general meeting at Big Daddy O’s in Tomball. Hats off to Bill Kinney, CCA Star Tournament Director, for giving us an update on the current goings on with this year’s Star Tournament as well as other CCA activities. It’s remarkable to see the program grow and continue to provide great rewards for all. Especially, for our future fisherman.

Please look for upcomming coorspondance for our Chapter Banquet, held on September 8th, at the Tomball VFW Hall. Information can be found on the CCA Texas website under our chapter. Banquet tickets will go on sale by July 1st.  Individual ticket prices are $40.00 each. Kids under 17 years of age are $20.00. Table price is $450.00 each. Special reserved Sponsor table is $700. A ticket will include your CCA membership, catfish/shrimp dinner, drinks and adult beverages. We are looking for volunteers to help with tickets sales and banquet preparation. All persons interested please contact Mike Uhlig at 713-540-0629 or email us at TomballCCA@yahoo.com.

As always, we appreciate all your support and look forward to see you at all our events. Please work to keep our lands, lakes, bays and oceans free for all to enjoy.
