TIDE Magazine staffs up
Veteran CCA staffer joins TIDE as Director of Advertising
HOUSTON - TIDE Magazine, the official publication of Coastal Conservation Association, is proud to announce that Robert Taylor has been named the new Director of Advertising in charge of sales and marketing for the magazine. Taylor is also the CCA Director of State Development and his new responsibilities with TIDE open exciting new avenues of opportunity to synergize CCA’s corporate outreach efforts.
“CCA has a growing membership of more than 100,000 members in 17 state chapters on all three coasts. Since its inception in 1977, CCA has been extremely fortunate to have the support of conservation–minded businesses, large and small,” said Patrick D. Murray, CCA executive vice president. “Robert is the perfect person to find innovative ways for CCA and our supporters in the business community to work together for the benefit of our marine resources.”
Taylor grew up in Texas and was working in telecommunications sales before he joined CCA Texas almost 10 years ago. As an assistant director with CCA Texas, he developed chapters all over the state and coordinated some of the largest fundraising events in CCA’s history.
“Everyone is looking for value in everything they do with their dollars right now, and CCA is a unique organization that has a loyal and growing membership that can provide real value to companies in so many ways, and on so many levels,” said Taylor. “There is so much that can be achieved for marine conservation if we work together, and I look forward to building those relationships through TIDE.”
