PrairieAugust - September Currents Update: Prairie CCA Chapter Hope everyone is having a great summer! Our 9th annual Prairie Chapter kids fish tournament, which is open to the public, will be held on August 14 from 1-3 p.m. at the Eberly Ranch (FM 1471, Chappell, Texas) Hog dogs, drinks, and snacks will be provided. There will be both silent and live auctions as well as a raffle. There will be a 20ga. Mossberg shotgun that will be in the live auction, along with a guided fishing trip in Port O’ Connor. This will be after the weigh-in. There will be five age groups: 0-4 years, 5-9 years, 10-14 and 15-18 years. Food, drinks, and bait are provided. Make sure to bring fishing poles, tackle, and lawn chairs. Prizes are given to 1st - 3rd places in each age group.
