Finally, we are going to start a summer monthly CCA Happy Hour/Liars Club to just visit and hang out the second Tuesdays of June, July and August at the Barn Door at 6:00 pm. As a bonus, email your best recent pics of you and your catch, your kid’s catch or your spouse’s bigger catch to Liz Hewitt (email@example.com) by Saturday prior to each Happy Hour, and we will spool those and similar photo-shopped fish pics on the overhead screens. Thanks to CCA sponsor and friend Randy Stokes, who not only facilitates our meetings at the Barn Door, but has graciously extended his Happy Hour prices from 6:30 to 7:30 for our CCA socials. The first one will be on Tuesday, June 13.
Thanks to all of you who actively volunteer or otherwise support the mission of CCA. And, remember to take a kid fishing. – Mike Sarosdy

The San Antonio "Hooked on Golf" Tournament was held on September 30, 2016. Thanks to all who volunteered, played in or sponsored our First “Hooked on Golf” Tournament at Silverhorn.
The San Antonio Chapter of CCA was founded in 1979 as the Southwest Chapter of GCCA. From the very beginning, the San Antonio Chapter has been at the forefront of fundraising and policy making for CCA. Although located approximately 130 miles from the coast, the San Antonio Chapter consists of approximately 4,000 men, women and children who fish from Port O’Connor to Port Isabel. It is this diverse membership with ties to such a large portion of the Texas coast that has allowed the San Antonio Chapter to lead the way in CCA conservation efforts. Today, the San Antonio Chapter of CCA is the largest fundraising chapter in the nation, grossing over $1 million in our 2015 banquet. The San Antonio Chapter of CCA welcomes participation in its efforts from those interested in making positive impact on our coastal resources.
