Centex

August - September Currents Update: Centex CCA Chapter

It has been another great year up here in Central Texas. I hope you are all having a great summer and avoiding that scorching heat! I would like to thank everyone who came out and joined us at our annual Shrimp Boil and Banquet at the Heart of Texas Coliseum on June 17.

We had another great event and were able to raise some good conservation dollars for CCA Texas. We would not be able to make this event such a great success without all of our sponsors and volunteers who show us unwavering support year after year.

And last but certainly not least, I would like to give a huge thanks and pat on the back to the board of directors of the Centex Chapter. These guys are the heart and soul of the chapter and have devoted countless days and nights to make this chapter what it is. So thank you to all of the board guys here at the Centex Chapter. Now it is time to enjoy the rest of your summer and get out on the water, whether it be Lake Waco or the coast. —Brad Hensel
