The latest from CURRENTS

Brazos Valley Chapter had an awesome banquet on March 1, 2024, with over 450 attending. Our team worked extremely hard to make this year a success and raise money for our future costal fisheries. We appreciate the following team members: Scott Sig, Scott Carey, Randy, Justin, and Chad Boenigk, Matt and Cindi Hannes, Ben Beyer, Jim Ragsdale, Mark Fitzjerrell, John Ben Strother, and Bess Bruton. Plus other members who came to help set up and work that evening. We appreciate Carson Vecera, an awesome director who is always there to lead us forward and his team who worked the night of the banquet.

Our sponsors are the best and there are too many to name here. C & J Bar-b-que did an outstanding job catering our pork chops and sides. Cocktails 4U and Jack Hilliard Distributing Company quenched everyone’s thirst. We appreciate the years of support from Burdett and Sons who provides amazing auction items. We honored two members we recently lost: Quentin Henry and Chip Manning. Their presence was missed at the banquet, but we knew they were there in spirit. Thanks again to a successful and fun banquet! Our next chapter meeting will be in April, check your email for details. Take a child or friend fishing…it may change their life.
