Aransas Bay

This is a very busy and exciting time for the Aransas Bay Chapter.  Preparations are well underway for the 13th annual Babes on the Bay all women fishing tournament to be held May 18 and 19th, 2012.  Last year we had 1168 women fish our tournament.  (We say “wow” every year!)  This tournament would not be possible without the numerous volunteers that help year after year.  For information, please contact Karol Scardino, tournament director, at 361-386-0028 or email karol.scardino@gmail.com or go to the website www.babesonthebay.com for more details including tournament rules and registration package.  Deadline for registration is April 29, 2012.

Our annual banquet will be on August 11, 2012 at the Paws and Taws Convention Center in Fulton, Texas.  Look for additional information on this event in the upcoming Currents.

Stay safe and tight lines,
